Dr. Kim Wenn

A PEI native, Dr. Kim is dedicated to serving her patients with the utmost care and up-to-date technology. Her philosophy of practice is “I treat my patients the way I would want to be treated”. Her favourite quote, which you will see hanging in her operatory, is “In a world where you can be anything, be KIND”.

After completing three years of a biology degree at UPEI, Dr. Kim went on to study dentistry at Dalhousie Dental School from which she graduated in 1995. She was then accepted into a one-year general practice residency program at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton where she furthered her education and training. In 1997, Dr. Kim returned home and purchased a dental practice in Summerside, where she practiced until 2005. She then started practicing with her sister in Charlottetown when her Dad decided to hang up his drill and retire. She considers herself very lucky to work beside her sister and best friend daily.

Dr. Kim is a past president of the Dental Association of PEI and remains an active member. She loves to learn about upcoming advancements in dentistry and does so by attending continuing education courses.

She lives in the beautiful countryside of South Melville where she spends her downtime with her husband, Grant; their two teenage boys, Liam and Ian; and their two dogs and two cats. She enjoys the outdoors, travelling, crocheting, reading, and family and friend gatherings.
